Christmas Jumpers

So it's almost that special time of year again and I couldn't possibly be more excited!

Usually after a holiday, it's pretty difficult to get back into the regular every day routine but I have to say coming home to Christmas was super exciting.

This year I made it my priority to get a really sweet Christmas jumper to wear over the festive period.

Most high street stores are stocking Christmas jumpers as it has definitely become some what of a trend, but I came across my jumper in Primark!

I was immediately drawn to this one because unlike most other festive jumpers, this one is cropped! So it looks really cute with high waisted jeans or even a little vest underneath, to keep you extra cosy.

With just a few days left until Santa is coming to town, make sure you get down to your local shopping centre to grab yourself a jumper! (Try going as early as possible to avoid the rush of last minute panic buyers.)

They are a timeless classic which can be pulled out year after year!

I hope that you have the most special Christmas with all of those that you love!

Lots of love to you all, Kenzie xxx

The Midi Ring

This season has seen the likes of the low heel and the mini bag but my new favourite accessory is the midi

The hint is definitely in the name with these beauty's that sit perfectly on the middle of your fingers adding a quirky dimension to any ensemble.

These super cute rings are so hot right now, with even the likes of the beautiful Rihanna rocking them!

These rings can be worn in one of two ways. In the first picture I placed each ring on seperate fingers and in the second they are bunched in a trio on one finger, which I think looks really lovely.

I bought these midi rings from Topshop for £6.50 and they are available in sizes small, medium and large. These are in a 'bow' style but they come in a variety of designs and colours.

They are very comfortable and do not slide off as I initially thought they would. You 100% have to get your hands on these! I completely love them.

What do you guys think of the midi ring?

How to clean your make up brushes.

The use of make up brushes makes all the difference when applying your make up. They give a beautifully flawless finish to any look, but if they are not washed in the correct way, they can cause much more problems than they resolve! Dirt and even bacteria can become trapped in between the bristles of the brush and can consequently cause your pores to become clogged.

I use the Dermalogica special cleansing gel in order to help clean my brushes! I use this product as part of my skin care routine but it works a treat when cleaning my make up brushes too! Click HERE to view this product. (£27.00)

Step 1. Begin by running your brush under lukewarm water.

Step 2. Squeeze a pea size drop of special cleansing gel into the palm of your hand.

Step 3. Swirl the wet brush in a circular motion in the special cleansing gel and continue to repeat this process until there is no residual make up in the bristles.

Step 4. Leave the brushes on a towel to dry.

My money saving tip - if you do not wish to splash out on the special cleansing gel, then fill a bowl with lukewarm water and add a small drop of shampoo! Simply swirl your brush in the bowl and then run it under a tap. Repeat this until the water runs clean.

So there you have it my beauty's, my guide to achieving gorgeous, clean brushes!

Let me know how you get on with it.

Ugg Fluff Flip Flops

There is nothing that quite beats the feeling of coming home after a long day, sitting down with a cuppa and putting on your pj's. (Especially since the temperature has dropped!) The highlight for me? Kicking of your heels and slipping on your fluffiest slippers.

Ugg's new collection is always something to get excited about and once again they have outdone themselves. They have introduced the most amazing flip flops, perfect for winter evenings.

I know what you're thinking, fluff flip flops at this time of year but they are effectively slippers and have to be a favourite of mine. Cute and comfortable?! Now that is not something you hear everyday.

Available in a variety of colours and for a very reasonable £60, it would be rather rude not to!

Made from beautifully soft sheepskin, these sandal style footwear will make you the envy of all those around you.

Designed to be worn inside or out, these would make the loveliest gift for any loved one this Christmas.

I have recently found a beautiful shoe store in Southampton just around the corner from my university, Scarpini, that stocks a huge selection of different Uggs. Click HERE to view these stunning slippers and more super gorg shoes.

Let me know what you think of these ultra sweet new arrivals. They are a must have!

Dermalogica Overnight Clearing Gel

The overnight clearing gel by Dermalogica is a fast working treatment that reduces any excess sebum in the skin which in turn helps to clear affected areas.

I have tried applying this product in two ways. I initially applied the gel in a thin layer all over my face. More recently I applied the gel specifically to the problem areas.

Personally, I found the latter much more affective. With this MediBac gel, less is definitely more! I use the tiniest amount on each blemish, changing the finger that I use to apply it each time to ensure that I am not spreading any infections!

Not only have I found this clearing gel to be affective on existing spots, but I also apply it to areas where I can feel a potential spot developing.Click HERE to view this product.

I would 100% recommend this for its fast working capabilities and effective outcomes.

What's In My Handbag?

With every new bag I buy, the content stays very much the same! So I decided that it was about time that I participate in the generic 'what's in my handbag' blog.

This is my stunning electric blue Ted Baker bag made from faux pony hair.

A pocket size mirror - Let's face it, we've all experienced that awkward moment when your date points out that you've got red lipstick on your teeth. So by having a quick glance before heading out it is always a great way to avoid any more embarrassing mishaps occurring. Shown in the picture is my gorgeous pink Dior mirror.

My lipgloss - whatever colour you decide to wear, you should always carry it with you because you will certainly need to give yourself little touch ups throughout the day. I currently have my Bobbi Brown lip gloss (Rosy 22) in my bag.

Concealer/foundation - much like reapplying your lippy, it's always a good idea to keep a concealer with you just to ensure that all of those naughty little blemishes remain hidden! With me at the moment is my Bobbi Brown foundation stick. (Natural tan 4.25)

Chewing Gum. I always have a piece of chewing gum after eating a meal out! It gets rid of any unwanted after tastes and leaves you smelling minty fresh, after all who wants coffee breath?!

Perfume - I tend to change the fragrance I wear from day to day, but whenever I do, I make sure it's always with me when leaving the house. Some perfumes last longer than others but it's always nice to give yourself a little spray during the day to ensure you smell fabulous all day/night long. At the moment I am using my Lady Million fragrance by Paco Rabanne.

My purse - I always carry my purse with me just in case! You never know when you might find the worlds most amazing dress or sexiest heels. This is one of my fav purses, in leopard print from River Island! I love their bags and purses because they look extremely expensive and come in a range of different designs and colours but are completely affordable!

Note pad and pen - as a budding journalist, you just never know when or where you might find a story. So I keep this pad and pen with me to make sure that I am always prepared should the need for it arise. Not only this but it's also super handy for jotting down reminders and numbers. (It's a great way to stay organised!) The note pad and pen in the picture is from Ted Baker and was a complimentary gift as  part of a bodywear set that I purchased!

An umbrella - I always carry an umbrella with me, purely because you can never truly trust British weather. You might wake up to clear blue skies and foolishly leave the house without your rain coat and umbrella, and what do you know? The heavens open and your beautifully groomed hair is not so beautiful anymore! I picked up this really cute umbrella from Primark.

My iPod - whether it's to keep me entertained during a long journey or just to have playing quietly whilst doing some work in the library, my iPod is an essential item in my handbag. (And it's pink which makes me love it even more!)

Hand Cream - I apply hand cream throughout the day to keep my hands feeling smooth and to keep them smelling lovely! The image shows my wild rose hand cream from the Body Shop.

So there you have it, the contents of my handbag! I've definitely noticed a pink and leopard print theme!

Comment and let me know what you have in your bag. Thank you for reading sweeties!

Tangle Teezer Hair Brush

Anyone who has curly hair will, I'm sure, be accustomed to a plethora of tangles every time they try to tackle their lovely locks. I am unfortunately no exception to this rule. However even those with the sleekest of hair, are prone to the occasional knot from time to time!

Having struggled to find a brush that can handle such complications, I decided to try something new.

This tangle teezer brush glides through your hair with very little tugging and most importantly no pain.

When I initially took it out of the box, the soft bristles seemed too weak to be capable of removing large knots. But how wrong I was!

They really do work quickly and efficiently with fantastic results! For me, one of the biggest advantages is the fact that it doesn't damage hair as much as when using a regular brush. It combs out knots without breaking the hair. Click HERE to view this product.

Whether it's for young children or yourself, this product is most definitely a must have for all hair types and ages.

How To Manage Your Wardrobe

A question I always seem to ask myself when shopping is, 'do I really need this?' Admittedly, being the shopoholic that I am, the answer is most commonly 'yes,' but I occasionally manage to restrain myself and leave the store empty handed.

Like most women, I have a host of clothes in my wardrobe that I hold on to with the excuse that 'I will wear it one day!' However, the reality is, you probably won't. So here's my little tip to show you how to keep track of whether you are getting use out of all of your clothes or not!

Place all of your hangers in the wardrobe with the hook facing outwards, or more simply 'the wrong way around.'

So, how is this relevant? Well, whenever you wear an item from your wardrobe just turn the hanger around the right way so that the hook is facing inwards.

After a month of following this tracking process, assess your wardrobe situation! Are there still any hangers that haven't yet been turned around the right way? And if so, why haven't you worn that item? It may just be that the appropriate occasion hasn't arisen to wear your LBD or disco pants but if the realisation is that you have just been avoiding an item, then GET RID OF IT!

I'm sure you'll find a good home for any unwanted clothes, whether it be some classic hand-me-downs to a younger sibling or perhaps taking them to a clothing bank!

Hopefully this post will help to sculpt your wardrobe and guide your future shopping sprees! Stay beautiful! Lots of love, Kenzie xxx

The Mun (Man Bun)

As I've tried to express before, this blog isn't just for all of the gorgeous females out there, it's also for the fellas!

Today, it's all about the hair and unless you are one of the Geordie Shore lads, no man likes admitting that they secretly care about their 'do.' So I'm going to tell you exactly what's hot at the moment to keep you bang on trend this Autumn! The mun.

Now I know what you're thinking, what the heck is that?! The mun is simply the term used for the man bun. So if you have slightly longer hair, then get yourself a hair band and slick it back!

This look has also taken Hollywood by storm, with many male celebs from Bradley Cooper to Orlando Bloom opting for the mun. (See below.)

I personally think it's a really sexy and fresh look, so why not give it a go?!

What are your thoughts on the mun? Lots of love, Kenzie xxx

The Skort

This Autumn we have seen the return of a major 90s fashion trend, the skort!

For many, it has taken them back to their PE days of jumping the horse and skipping rope, but I think they are amaze.

I mean, have you ever been out on a windy day rocking a skirt and with no warning what so ever a huge gust of wind sweeps away all of your dignity revealing your ever so unattractive Bridget Jones knickers? If so, then the skort is this seasons go to piece for you!

This hybrid fashion item, skirt at the front, shorts at the back, can be worn in a variety of ways. I personally would glam the outfit up by adding a nice top and a pair of low heels! But I have seen this piece teamed with high tops and an oversized T-shirt which looks equally fab for an effortless day time look.

This stunning Verity skort in white from misguided would go with just about anything! (I love white!) Click HERE to view this item. (£17.99)

TIGI Catwalk Curlesque Curls Rock Amplifier

I have naturally curly hair but without any product in it, it gets a little crazy! So I use Curls Rock Amplifier by TIGI to help define and control my curls. Click HERE to view this amazing product.

However this does not just have an effect on people with curly hair. If you are looking for effortless, beachy waves then this is also the product for you.

Simply apply the substance to wet hair and use your fingertips to run the Curls Rock Amplifier from the roots to the ends. Once it is evenly distributed over the hair scrunch the hair up with your hands in order to create a wave or curl.

To achieve a medium hold, I always dry my hair using a diffuser. This helps to distribute air evenly to maintain beautiful curls without any frizz! It also helps to separate hair to create more defined waves. Click HERE to view this item.

Depending on the length of your hair between one and two pumps should be more than enough for a stunning finish.

With it's delightful fruity fragrance and unbelievable results, I couldn't possibly recommend this product more highly!

White Eyeliner

Being a make up lover and working in Hollister doesn't initially seem to go hand in hand. The company insists on all employees looking extremely natural by wearing very minimalistic beauty products and preventing the use of eyeliner and bold colours. (Nightmare!)

However, I have a fantastic beauty tip to ensure your eyes are looking as gorgeous as ever, whilst avoiding applying any black eyeliner. The secret? Simply by changing to a white eyeliner your eyes will look more natural but still big and beautiful at the same time!

Using a white eyeliner pencil on your water line can create the illusion that you have much bigger eyes than you actually do by extended the eye's white colour and in doing so is extremely subtle. This is particularly effective on people with deep set eyes or smaller eyes.

I have recently tried out the Rimmel Soft Khol Kajal Eye Pencil in white. (£2.99) Click HERE to view. I decided to start with this because I didn't want to invest in something that I may not use but I absolutely loved it! This soft pencil provides a very bold colour that gradually fades over time which adds to the natural look.

If you like this look on you, then why not invest a little more? Mac Eye Kohl pencil in the shade Fascinating is a gorgeous product that last a little longer in my opinion. Click HERE to view.

Here is the very gorgeous Scarlett Johansson rocking this beautiful look!

Let me know how you get on with it lovely readers. I can't wait to hear what you thought. Lots of love, Kenzie xxx

Nair Hair Removal Cream

One thing all women agonise over, is hair removal. Its almost overwhelming how many options are available to us, but finding the right one for you can be some what tricky.

Today I am focusing specifically about hair removal on the legs. Having experienced all methods myself, I have concluded that my preferred approach is using a hair removal cream.

Veet is great and works really efficiently, however, in my opinion, it can be a little costly. So now I always opt for Nair!

I first stumbled across their products whilst desperately searching the shelves for the only brand I had ever used for hair removal, Veet. I was preparing for a party and couldn't believe I'd ran out. After unsuccessful searching, I spotted the Nair cream and decided to try it. Its completely fab!

The cream works between five and six minutes but can be left on for a maximum of ten minutes if you have slightly darker or thicker hairs. It leaves my legs feeling incredibly soft and lasts for anything up to a week! As well as this, unlike shaving you avoid 'prickley' hairs growing.

Like most beauty items there are a couple of minor disadvantages, the smell of the cream is not particularly fragrant but it is quickly eradicated after washing it off. Also the tube will only last for two/three applications. However, I have found that this is much like any other hair removal product as a large amount of cream is required to cover both of the legs.

Taking everything in to consideration, this method of removing hair is quick, easy and has extremely long lasting results.

Whilst removing the cream I recommend investing in a small sponge to ease the cream and hairs away with. I also think that this provides a more flawless finish!

In most super markets, Nair hair removal cream is only £1.10 per 100ml as appose to paying £4.50 per 100ml for Veet!

Let me know what form of hair removal suites you best! Lots of love, Kenzie xxx

How To Revive A Dried Up Mascara

Recently I have had loads of you lovely people contacting me, asking how to prevent your mascara from hardening so soon after purchasing it.

Much like you all, I have this problem to and it always seems to happen as you are getting ready for a big night out, typical!

Often it depends on what mascara you are using because some are prone to hardening quicker than others. However my top tip for this Thursday is to place your mascara in a bowl of boiling water for a few minutes. This causes the liquid to soften in the mascara and to become a thinner consistency, making it easier to apply.

Be sure that the lid is securely tightened to ensure that no water gets into your mascara because as we all know it can be extremely expensive to replace.

Should your product still be dry, then add a drop of baby oil to the mascara. This softens it and should really prolong its shelf life and return to its creamy former self.

So next time your mascara dries up, don't throw it away! Simply revitalise your product with this simple method.

I really hope that this advice is useful! Please keep your queries coming. Lots of love, Kenzie xxx

Pin Up Inspired Make Up

When going out for an evening, there is nothing I love more than the classic pin up inspired look. Winged out liner adds a feminine feel to any makeover and how can you go wrong with those gorgeous statement red lips?

When trying this look out for yourself, the best advice I can give is to keep the eyes very natural. It's a personal rule of mine to never do lips and eyes! You want to focus on one or the other, in this case, the lips.

To demonstrate this lovely look, I did the very gorge Becca Peppiatt's make up.

After carrying out a foundation routine and priming the eye area, I applied a nude base all over the lids using my MUA Heaven and Earth eyeshadow palette. I then used a slightly darker shade (but still very natural) on the outer half of the lid.

To finish the eyes I simply added liquid eyeliner and mascara. I was fairly scarce with the mascara because I wanted all of the attention on Beccas lips. When applying too much mascara the eyes can look unnatural and I didn't want this for this very girly classic look.

To complete those stunning apple red lips, first begin by distributing balm all over the lips. This will keep them hydrated and ensure that the colour is even. I used the Rimmel Kate Moss lip stick. (shade red 01) I applied this all over the desired area! Finally, I added a sheer gloss to the lips to give them a beautiful shine!

I hope you love this look, here's Becca working it!

Let me know how you get on beauty's. Lots of love, Kenzie xxx

Skincare

So it's Sunday, our last day of freedom before the harsh reality that is other wise know as Monday comes back around.

If like me, your day has consited of snuggling up by the fire, fresh faced after eating the worlds biggest roast then you will probably have time to squeeze in a quick skin care procedure!

These three quick and easy steps should leave you feeling revitalised and ready for the week ahead.

1. STEAM - Steaming your face opens pores and loosens any existing blackheads.

First, fill a bowl with boiling water and add some lemon juice. Position your face over the bowl and hold a towel over your head to keep all of the steam in for maximal results! Follow by cleansing and rinsing with cool water to close your pores. I love the Shiseido pureness deep cleansing foam. It is amazing! It helps reduce blemishes and leaves my skin feeling so smooth.

2. SOOTHE EYES - To reduce tired eyes after a long week, slice a cucumber into thin slices and place on each eye lid for 10-15 minutes. Cucumber contains anti-inflammatory properties so can soothe irritated and red skin.

3. MOISTURISE - To feel completely refreshed, moisture your whole face and remember not to neglect your neck! This area is prone to dryness and is very often left out. I love the Shiseido pureness mattifying moisturiser. Much like the foam, it is great for sensitive skin and I really couldn't recommend it more highly!

1. Participants, also known as mo bros, must begin the 1st of November with a clean shaven face.
2. For the entire month each mo bro should grow and groom a moustache.
3. There is to be no joining of your mo to the side burns.

5. Each mo bro must conduct himself like a true gentleman.

If you're lacking inspiration, then here is a style guide for the perfect mo!

Gold Glitter Make Up - Before and After

To show you the effects of the Diorshow Fusion Mono that I wrote about in my previous blog, I did my gorgeous friend, Marli Todd's make up!
BEFORE

AFTER
AFTER

I applied this product all over the eyelid and below the lower lash line to create an extra dazzling outcome.

You can really see the gorgeous shimmer effect that this product provides.

I teamed this with gold dust, a gold eyeshadow, natural lips and liquid eyeliner.

I hope you love this stunning look. Lots of love, Kenzie xxx

Diorshow Fusion Mono

My latest make up purchase was the Diorshow Fusion Mono. This is a gorgeous eyeshadow like no other, its gel-foam consistency allows a lightweight application and ensures a long lasting finish.

It can be applied in one of two ways. Firstly, by using your fingertips for a subtle shimmer outcome or for a more dramatic look by using an eyeshadow brush.

I chose the shade météore because it can be added to natural colours and light browns to create a stunning day time look. However, when it is intensified it gives a much more extreme finish, perfect for an evening.

I'm also a huge fan of the lune colour! This would make a wonderful base for any eyeshadow. There are several other shades to choose from, shown below.

I couldn't recommend this product more highly! Although a little pricey (£23.50) they last an extremely long time as only a small amount of the product is required to create the desired finish.

Lots of love, Kenzie xxx

Britney Spears Fantasy Eau de Parfum

The last thing I do before I leave the house after getting ready is spray my perfume.

Finding an aroma that you love can sometimes be a difficult task when there are so many to choose from! I like to differentiate between daytime and evening fragrances. I tend to favour lighter, sweeter scents throughout the day.

So I thought I'd share with you my current favourite budget fragrance, Fantasy by Britney Spears.

The smell is extremely long lasting, leaving you feeling fruity and fresh throughout the entire day.

Fantasy also comes in a gorgeous and extremely feminine bottle. It's fuchsia, embedded with swarovski crystals. What more could a woman ask for?!

Boots are currently offering a super fab deal for one week only! The current deal is £12.50 for a 50ml bottle. (Original price - £25.53) Click HERE to view this offer.

Have a wonderful Saturday! Lots of love as always, Kenzie xxx

Picture Proof: Lancôme Hypnôse Star Mascara

In one of my most recent blogs, I spoke of my love for the Lancôme Hypnôse Star Mascara! (Click HERE to view.) As promised, here are the incredible effects of this simply dazzling product.

Along with the classic before and after shots, I thought that I would first post a picture of myself with one completed eye and the other without any mascara. This will hopefully demonstrate the stunning transformation that this item allows.

I have chosen to put the pictures into black and white because it particularly accentuates the lashes to show you the visible difference between both of my eyes. (Please excuse the selfie!)

Here are before and after pictures.

Lancôme Hypnôse Star Mascara

Happy Monday my lovely readers! To kick off the week I thought I'd share my favourite mascara with you all for 'mascara Mondays!'

At the moment I am obsessed with Lancôme's Hypnôse Star. (£22.00) Click HERE to view this product.

If you are looking for seriously intense volume and gorgeous curled lashes then this is the mascara for you!

Unlike so many other mascaras, this beautiful product doesn't clump leaving your eye make up looking thick and unnatural but instead allows perfect separation between your lashes.

It also gives a sexy and particularly feminine look with its spectacular curl! (The dual-effect brush is responsible for this.) The round sides of the brush creates the curl in the lashes and the straight sides intensifies the volume.

I have personally found this mascara so reliable because it doesn't smudge under my brow line or drop onto my cheeks. It gives a beautiful finish to any look, whether it be daytime or evening and it really makes my eyes stand out with its lengthening properties.

I'll post a follow up blog within the next week, with pictures of the stunning effects that this mascara creates!

Have a super day!! Lots of love, Kenzie xxx

Liebster Awards

Hello you gorgeous bunch,
Firstly, TGIF!!! Secondly, I am so happy and honoured to share with you that I have been nominated for the Liebster awards! For those of you who aren't familiar with the realms of the blogosphere, this award is given by bloggers to other bloggers who they feel are most deserving of a little recognition. This helps new and upcoming writers to establish themselves within the blogging community.

I was nominated by the very lovely Rebecca White, a fellow beauty blogger! Rebecca has created a list of 10 questions for me to answer, so here we go!

1. Who or what inspired you to create your blog?
I have always had a passion for journalism and fashion writing so I thought that starting a blog was the perfect way to put that into practise!

2. Fashion or make up? You have to pick one!
This is such a tricky question to answer because both are so important! But for me personally, I would have to say make up. I think you could be wearing the most incredible outfit in the world but if you don't feel confident in yourself then you won't enjoy what you are wearing. Whereas, I could go out in my pj's and still feel great if my make up was done!

3. What has been the best advice you have ever been given?
Do what makes you happy. Be with who makes you smile. Laugh as much as you breathe and love as long as you live.

4. How long does it take you to get ready for A) a night out and B) in the morning?
A) For a night out I always try to look my best. I'm a typical girly girl and I love getting done up. I would usually allow myself about 2 hours to get my nails, hair and make up done! Although, half of this is usually spent trying to pick out an outfit!
B) During the day I always opt for a natural look. I sometimes have those days when I think, 'I won't wear any make up today.' But other days I feel like making a bit more of an effort. So I would say on average I would spend about 30 minutes getting myself ready in the morning.

5. What do you hope to gain from your blog?
I hope that along with developing my writing ability I can spread a little bit of fashion and beauty love, whether it be to my friends and family or alternatively people I haven't had the pleasure of meeting!

6. What is on your bucket list?
I'm a big dreamer so there is so much that I would like to do in my lifetime, but I would absolutely love to have my own chat show!

7. What is your ideal 'me-time' routine?
I absolutely love spending time with the people I love most. Nothing beats a night in with my family with a serious amount of sugary treats and a movie!

8. If you had to live somewhere for 3 years, where would it be?
London!! Its close to home, its always buzzing, I love the fashion there and the opportunities are endless.

9. What is your current occupation?
I am a full time student studying Multimedia Journalism and I work in Hollister in my spare time!

10. Where do you see yourself in a years time?
I am currently in my first year of university, so I will still be studying! But I will be working my hardest to achieve my dream of becoming a TV presenter!

Here is a list of my beautiful nominees! I have chosen you guys because I love your content and think you all have so much potential!
Emily: http://emiliine.blogspot.co.uk
Amy: http://amyysarah.blogspot.co.uk
Zandra: http://aztecdoll.blogspot.co.uk
Chloe: http://www.chloechristinagreen.blogspot.co.uk
Valerie: http://ohhval.blogspot.co.uk

Here are my questions for you lovely lot!
1. What inspired you to start out on the blogging scene?
2. Who is your style icon and why?
3. Would you rather have a fashion line or a beauty range?
4. Who is your favourite designer?
5. If you could only take 3 beauty products to a desert island, what would they be?
6. What is your top beauty tip?
7. High fashion or editorial?

Sienna X Spray Tanning Review

As the temperature plummets, replacing our mild summer weather with cold winds and potentially snow, it's safe to say that we've seen the best of the sun for a while!

I recently wrote about my love for St Tropez! However, I'm actually in the middle of a fake tan love triangle because I'm also a huge devotee to Sienna self tan.

When I have a big occasion coming up, I'm prone to treating myself to a spray tan! It's so quick and easy and gives you a gorgeous, all over colour!

Unsurprisingly, Sienna is the UK's market leader in sunless tanning! It's enriched with amazing ingredients such as aloe Vera, so the product doesn't just tan your skin but it also nourishes it.

Before getting a Sienna spray tan, it's recommended that you shave 24 hours in advance or 48 hours if waxing.

I also advise that you use the Sienna X polishing body scrub prior to your self tan to remove any impurities in the skin to ensure an even application. This product contains lemongrass to soften the skin and leave it looking beautifully radiant. When applying this product, pay particular attention to dry areas such as your knees and elbows. This will avoid any streaks.

After getting your Sienna spray, I suggest that you try their radiance body balm. This excellent moisturiser helps to prolong and enhance your tan for anything up to a week. I love it because it's non greasy and leaves my skin feeling so soft! (As well as optimising my new colour!)

I am so lucky to have such an incredible tanning and beauty salon in my local area! Studio 29 is 100% one of my favourite places in the world, with its flawless treatments and super lovely staff, you are guaranteed to leave with a smile on your face! (Not forgetting your perfect Sienna spray tan!) I honestly couldn't recommend it more highly. Click HERE to check out their Facebook page.

So if you are in the Southampton area and you are in need of a gorgeous glow then pop in and see for yourself just how amazing the studio is.

I hope you love Sienna just as much as I do!

Brighten up your Autumn with this must have tan. Let me know how you get on! Lots of love, Kenzie xxx

Clash of the Tartans

Following on from my previous blogs about what is hot this Autumn, TARTAN is back in a big way! Dominating shops everywhere, this statement pattern always seems to find its place back on to the catwalk.

So you won't just be needing this look at a scottish celebration, with its eye catching design and bold colours, tartan is a must have this season. I've put together a few of my current favourite pieces from various high street shops!

Red check mini tube skirt - New Look (£14.99) Click HERE to view this item.

Red tartan tassalled blanket scarf - River Island (£25.00) Click HERE to view this item.
Blue tartan velvet turtle neck bodycon dress - River Island (£25.00) Click HERE to view this item.

I also thought that I would add in one for the boys!! Whether you are a male reading this or a woman looking for your HABs, (husbands and boyfriends,) tartan is also super trendy for men this Autumn/Winter.

I LOVE this look, it gives any outfit a 'punk' edge and also a very seasonal feel. Lots of love, Kenzie xxx
